Putin: Seizure of Russian ships is piracy
Moscow, August 12 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the seizure of Russian vessels and attempts to sell the country's property amount directly to piracy, adding that Russia would respond if such plans were implemented.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on attempts to seize Russian vessels and put the country's property up for sale, said such actions amounted to piracy. The Russian leader stated that if these plans were implemented, Russia would respond wherever it deemed necessary.
Putin noted that Russia's response could be carried out in areas considered appropriate, including the Pacific Fleet's area of responsibility.
