EU provides 235 million euros in humanitarian aid to West and Central Africa
Brussels, April 22 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib announced that 235 million euros in humanitarian aid will be provided to West and Central Africa.
European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib made a statement on the humanitarian situation in West and Central Africa.
Lahbib said, "The European Union is providing 235 million euros in humanitarian aid to West and Central Africa."
Referring to the scope of the aid, Lahbib stated, "For millions of people affected by conflict, hunger, and climate-related crises, this is not just funding; it means food, clean water, medicine, shelter, and hope."
Lahbib also said, "The European Union continues to stand by people in need."
