Ghalibaf: The only way is to recognize the rights of the Iranian nation
Tehran, April 22 (Hibya) - Speaker of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made notable remarks regarding the conditions of a ceasefire and the Strait of Hormuz.
Ghalibaf stated that a ceasefire would only be meaningful under certain conditions, saying: “A full ceasefire is meaningful only if it is not violated through a naval blockade that holds the global economy hostage and if the Zionists’ war incitement on all fronts is halted; the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is not possible in the event of a clear violation of the ceasefire.”
Arguing that objectives have not been achieved through military means, Ghalibaf said: “They did not achieve their goals through military aggression, nor will they achieve them through bullying. The only way is to recognize the rights of the Iranian nation.”
