Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized the need to protect navigation rights, drawing attention to the long-term negative effects of the regional crisis on the global economy, particularly on developing countries.

Referring to the global risks created by restrictions on strategic waterways, Guterres said, "Restrictions on navigation rights and freedoms in and around the Strait of Hormuz are causing hardship and instability around the world."

Warning that economic shocks would deepen, Guterres stated, "Even in the best-case scenario, these shocks will be felt for months, and developing countries will be affected most severely."

Addressing the international community in an appeal to resolve the crisis, Guterres concluded his statement with the following words:

"The world needs a full ceasefire in accordance with international law, along with the restoration of navigation rights and freedoms."
