High-level phone call between Pakistan and Qatar
Islamabad, February 26 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi while he was in Saudi Arabia.
During the call, Al-Khulaifi welcomed Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Doha on February 23–24. He expressed the Qatari leadership’s determination to elevate bilateral relations to higher levels, a stance reciprocated by Dar.
Dar thanked the Qatari side for the warm reception and hospitality extended to Prime Minister Sharif and his delegation during their visit to Doha.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments, in addition to bilateral relations. They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the brotherly ties between the two countries.
