Human rights action plan meetings continue in Qatar
Doha, May 7 (Hibya) - Consultation meetings within the framework of Qatar’s 2026-2030 National Human Rights Action Plan continue with the participation of relevant ministers and experts.
Consultation meetings within the framework of Qatar’s 2026-2030 National Human Rights Action Plan are continuing.
The meetings held in Doha were conducted by the relevant committee under the chairmanship of Minister of State and Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.
During the meetings, the aim was to create a comprehensive roadmap by evaluating different opinions and proposals within the framework of a participatory approach to preparing the plan.
Experts and committee members attended the session hosted by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali bin Isa Al Hasan Al Mohannadi.
During the discussions, issues within the responsibility area of the Ministry of Justice were addressed, and the process of alignment with national legislation and policies was evaluated.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that the plan would establish a national framework that would strengthen the protection of human rights.
