IDF announces killing of 5 militants
Jerusalem, April 30 (Hibya) - According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), five Hezbollah members said to be near IDF troops were killed following operations conducted yesterday by the 146th Division and the Air Force in southern Lebanon.
The statement said that in two separate incidents yesterday, several explosive unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched toward IDF units operating along the front line in southern Lebanon.
It was reported that the UAVs struck areas near the military forces, but no casualties occurred. These actions were described as violations of ceasefire agreements.
The IDF stated that it would continue its operations to eliminate threats against Israeli citizens and its military elements, adding:
"The IDF will continue to act to remove threats against the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces."
