IDF: Terror elements neutralized through commando units and drone operations
Jerusalem, April 13 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that terrorist elements identified during operations in the Bint Jbeil area were neutralized through precision airstrikes and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The IDF stated that it continues its operations against Hezbollah elements with the participation of special forces.
The statement noted that commando brigade units operating around Bint Jbeil are continuing their operations as part of efforts to expand the security zone.
According to the IDF, three armed individuals detected by advanced surveillance systems operated by the Maglan unit were neutralized in an airstrike, with claims that they were preparing an attack against Israeli forces.
In another incident, it was reported that a cell operating in the area and allegedly planning an attack on IDF forces was targeted by drones from the Egoz unit, while another target was neutralized using drones through joint efforts by the Maglan and Egoz units.
The statement also indicated that a rocket launcher ready for use against Israeli territory was identified and destroyed with a precise strike.
The IDF emphasized that operations will continue and conveyed that military activities against Hezbollah will persist.
