During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the excellent level of bilateral relations in the political, economic, commercial, and cultural fields, and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in media and public relations. In this context, they stressed the need for mutual exchange of press delegations to foster understanding and appreciation between the media outlets.

In this regard, both parties highlighted the importance of updating and implementing existing memorandums of understanding between the relevant media institutions of the two countries.

The two spokespeople also evaluated regional and international developments, focusing particularly on the South Caucasus, and emphasized the importance of establishing direct communication lines between the foreign ministries to verify concerning news reports and coordinate responses to misleading information and narratives.

Referring to the deep ties between Iran and Armenia and their extensive historical, cultural, artistic, and people-to-people relations, both spokespeople expressed readiness to identify and utilize various opportunities to enhance cooperation in these fields.
