Israeli army: We killed two Hamas and Islamic Jihad members in Gaza
Tel Aviv, October 16 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces announced that Muhammad Muhammad Abdulkhaliq Hala, a member of Hamas's armed wing, and Ahmed Jabrin Tawfiq Dalah, a member of the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, were killed in strikes carried out in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a statement that Muhammad Muhammad Abdulkhaliq Hala, a member of Hamas's armed wing, was killed in a strike carried out in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF statement, Hala entered Israeli territory during the October 7 attacks. The IDF alleged that Hala served as a commander in Hamas's weapons manufacturing unit, assisted in the production of various weapons and played a role in developing the organization's military capabilities in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army also announced that Ahmed Jabrin Tawfiq Dalah, a member of the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was killed in another strike in the Khan Younis area.
The statement alleged that the individuals had recently been involved in planning attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians and had been attempting to rebuild the organization's capabilities. The Israeli army argued that these activities constituted systematic violations of the ceasefire.
