Israeli forces uproot olive trees north of Ramallah
Stockholm, Jan. 2 (Hibya) — According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces on Friday leveled land with bulldozers and uprooted olive trees in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces raided the area around the home of the Abu Awwad family, bulldozed agricultural land and uprooted dozens of old olive trees.
Israeli occupation authorities have been carrying out bulldozing operations in the town for the past three months; during this period, around 4,000 olive trees were uprooted and thousands of dunams of land west of the town were plowed for a newly established Israeli outpost.
