Jetten: We discussed relations between the US and the Netherlands
Washington, April 14 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten announced that he held meetings in the United States together with Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorreguieta.
In his statement, Jetten said that they met with US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the White House, noting that the visit took place within the framework of the special and long-standing ties between the Netherlands and the United States.
Jetten stated that strong trade relations between the two countries and security cooperation within the framework of NATO were discussed during the meeting. He added that recent developments in Iran and the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine were also among the key topics. Jetten emphasized the importance of working towards a lasting solution regarding Iran and preventing further escalation.
