UN: Homes and infrastructure in Gaza are heavily damaged
New York, April 14 (Hibya) - The United Nations (UN) reported that across the Gaza Strip, homes and infrastructure have been largely destroyed or require extensive repairs to become usable again.
In a statement by the UN, it was noted that many people remain displaced and continue to live in overcrowded shelters with limited access to basic needs.
The statement also said that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) continues to work every day under extremely difficult conditions to support families and has the capacity to provide assistance at the necessary scale.
