Jetten: We will continue to act in unity as Europe
Amsterdam, September 2 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten highlighted German intelligence assessments indicating Russia's involvement in incidents involving drones carrying explosives at Leipzig Airport. Jetten said the incident marks a new stage in threats originating from Russia.
Jetten said in a statement, “The incidents at Leipzig Airport involving drones carrying explosives, in which German intelligence services say Russia was involved, mark a new step in the threat originating from Russia.”
Jetten said Russia's ambassador in The Hague would be summoned to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressing that European countries would act in solidarity with Germany. “We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Germans and act in unity as Europe against such actions,” he said.
