The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kallas, said that the release of Europeans detained in Venezuela is a positive development.
After meeting with several EU citizens who were released, Kallas said: “This outcome is the result of the EU’s persistent diplomacy and close coordination with Member States. A united Europe stands firmly for our citizens and for human rights.”
