Lahbib and Attaf discuss cooperation in response to humanitarian crises
New York, September 26 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib and Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf discussed strengthening coordination on humanitarian issues, risk preparedness and management, and crises in the Sahel region.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib said she exchanged views with Algerian Foreign Minister Attaf on humanitarian issues and risk preparedness and management.
Lahbib said the meeting addressed establishing a more comprehensive partnership and improving coordination of efforts in response to major humanitarian crises, particularly in the Sahel.
