Larijani: We will fiercely defend ourselves and our six-thousand-year-old civilization
Tehran, March 2 (Hibya) - Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani stated that Iran has not adopted an aggressive stance throughout history.
Larijani spoke about the ongoing military activity in the region and the threats directed at Iran.
He said the doctrine of the Iranian Armed Forces is entirely defensive.
Referring to historical precedent, Larijani stated: “As in the past 300 years, Iran did not start this war, and our brave Armed Forces have engaged in no offensive action beyond defense.”
He concluded: “At any cost, we will fiercely defend ourselves and our six-thousand-year-old civilization, and we will make our enemies regret their miscalculations.”
