Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov held talks with Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.

During the call, the parties discussed the crisis surrounding Iran and evaluated ways to end the conflict that began with attacks by the United States and Israel.

The ministers emphasized the need to swiftly return the situation to a political and diplomatic track based on international law, taking into account the legitimate interests of all states in the region.

Lavrov noted that Russia is ready to contribute to finding compromise-based solutions. He also stated that Moscow will continue close coordination with Oman, including within the framework of the United Nations, with the aim of rapidly reducing tensions and preventing the spread of armed conflict to a wider area.
