Leyen: The world needs media freedom


Brussels, March 26 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized that the world needs media freedom.

President Leyen stated that Radio Free Europe provides independent journalism in many countries where media freedom is under threat.

Highlighting that they will work with partners to support Radio Free Europe's award-winning journalism, Leyen said, "The world needs media freedom."
