Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva made remarks regarding the Global Progressive Mobilization Meeting.

Lula da Silva stated that the meeting organized by countries committed to democracy is encouraging in the current global environment, saying: “This meeting, which I had the honor of attending yesterday, is a hopeful development at a time when authoritarianism and international solidarity are weakening.”

Highlighting multilateralism and cooperation, Lula da Silva said: “Only together, through multilateralism and international cooperation, can we build a future without war.”

He added that this approach aims to provide a more dignified life for people around the world.
