Paris, February 9 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Antonio José Seguro on his election as President of Portugal, stating that they will work together to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
French President Macron congratulated Seguro on his election as President of Portugal. In his statement, Macron said they would work together to strengthen the implementation of the Friendship and Cooperation Treaty signed last year in Porto between the two countries. He emphasized that this cooperation would serve the French and Portuguese peoples, as well as a more competitive, stronger and more autonomous Europe.
