Paris, March 14 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron announced that during his conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani they discussed the attack targeting French soldiers and confirmed that coordination will continue for the stability of Iraq.

Providing information about the content of the meeting, Macron said: "He conveyed the condolences of the Iraqi people and his own following the death of Chief Warrant Officer Arnaud Frion and the injury of several of our soldiers during this unacceptable attack."
Macron stated that he expressed his thanks, saying: "I thank him for his commitment to clarifying all aspects of this attack and strengthening measures to protect our forces who fight alongside the Iraqis against the scourge of terrorism in Iraq."
Referring to France's diplomatic and military stance in the region, Macron said: "We will continue our coordination and efforts for the stability and sovereignty of the country, as well as to reduce regional tensions."
