Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the missile and drone attacks carried out by Russia across Ukraine.

Drawing attention to the destruction during the night, Sybiha said: "It was a terrible and sleepless night in Ukraine. At least four people were killed in the Kyiv region and many others were injured. Russia launched a major attack with dozens of ballistic missiles and hundreds of drones targeting civilians and infrastructure."

Sybiha argued that the attacks are fueled by international inaction: "Every explosion that shook Ukraine last night is a direct result of Russia's sense of impunity. Russia refuses to end the war. Instead, it continues its aggression against Ukraine and supports the spread of Iran's terror in the Middle East."

Continuing his criticism of diplomatic approaches, Minister Sybiha said: "Appeasement policy has never brought peace. It can only lead to the spread of terror and war. Ukraine's position has always been clear and continues to be so."
