President Macron said that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement has held 58 hostages for 600 days, adding: “For them and their loved ones, these have been 600 days of unbearable suffering.”
Macron emphasized that France stands firmly and mobilized by the hostages’ side: “Their release, an immediate ceasefire, peace and security for all — this is our priority.”
