Macron welcomes Ukraine's idea of accepting a ceasefire
French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed the progress made in discussing Ukraine's idea of accepting a 30-day ceasefire in the war with Russia.
French President Macron expressed his satisfaction with the progress made during today's talks between the United States and Ukraine in Jeddah regarding Ukraine's idea of accepting a 30-day ceasefire in the war with Russia.
Noting that the ball is now in Russia's court, Macron stated: "France and its partners remain committed to a stable and lasting peace, supported by strong security guarantees for Ukraine."
