The Commander of the Military Police of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence visited the Safe Cities Department under the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.

During the visit, the commander was welcomed by the Director of the Security Information Department and the Director of the Safe Cities Department. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation in security and technology and facilitate the exchange of expertise.

According to a statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Defence, the meeting examined the main technologies and smart systems used in Safe Cities Management, including their operational mechanisms for monitoring the latest developments and enhancing security surveillance and analytical capabilities. The participants also discussed the contributions of these systems to decision-making processes and their role in improving security preparedness.

The ministry stated that the meeting was intended to contribute to improving performance and strengthening coordination among the relevant institutions.
