In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index rose by 0.07% to 10,729.78 points, while Italy's FTSE MIB index fell by 1% to 49,500.97 points.
The pan-European STOXX Europe 600 index was recorded at 646.75 points, Germany's DAX index at 25,818.21 points and France's CAC 40 index at 7,969.42 points.
