Drawing attention to Germany’s stable stance, Merz said: “In a world dominated by great uncertainties, reliability is of major importance. Germany can provide this.”
Merz added: “We are reliable and ready for closer cooperation in economic policy — even up to a possible free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates.”
