Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic touched upon the development of relations between the two countries, the importance of institutional structures, and the reform efforts carried out within the EU accession process.

Sharing his messages regarding the focus of the meeting and strategic partnerships, Milatovic said: “During our meeting with Estonian Parliament Speaker Lauri Hussar, we reaffirmed that strong institutions and partnerships with EU member states are an important part of Montenegro’s European journey.”

Emphasizing the importance of interparliamentary contacts and structural support, Milatovic stated: “We discussed strengthening parliamentary cooperation, sharing experiences, and supporting the reforms leading Montenegro toward EU membership.”
