Minister Sybiha met with Minister Ablakwa
Kyiv, February 25 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that he was honored to host Ghanaian Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa.
Sybiha mentioned that they began the visit by laying flowers at the Memorial Wall and added, "I thanked my counterpart for the words of support he expressed on the fourth painful anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion. I also thanked Ghana for its support of the relevant resolution adopted at the UN General Assembly yesterday."
Sybiha noted that they have expanded their partnership in areas such as food security, logistics, defense industry, education, and other sectors, and expressed their eagerness to see Ghana’s leadership in the African Union next year, as well as exchanging views on priorities.
Sybiha emphasized their desire to expand cooperation with Ghana on a mutually beneficial basis for both countries and said, "We also discussed the possible visits and contacts of our leaders and the potential expansion of Ghana’s diplomatic presence in Ukraine."
