North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski attended the 3rd Ministerial Meeting of the Balkan Peace Platform upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Sharing details about the content and focus areas of the meeting, Mucunski said: “I exchanged views with my counterparts from the Western Balkan countries on global developments and regional dynamics; we focused on EU integration, disaster response, connectivity, youth, and education.”

Referring to priorities related to regional resilience, Mucunski stated: “With a strong emphasis on youth, education, and innovation, I reiterated my support for initiatives that strengthen regional stability and resilience.”

Conveying his views on reform processes and standards, Mucunski concluded his statement with the following words: “I emphasized the importance of reforms in the fields of infrastructure, healthcare, and digital education, alignment with European standards, and the development of cooperation.”
