Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif sends condolences to Türkiye
Islamabad, August 30 (Hibya) - Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the government of Türkiye and the families of those who lost their lives following the sinking of a passenger ship in the Mediterranean. Sharif said they were praying for the missing persons to be found safe and sound.
Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif issued a message of condolence to Türkiye over the accident caused by the sinking of a passenger ship in the Mediterranean.
In a post on his social media account, Sharif said he had learned of the accident with deep sorrow and extended his condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the families of those who lost their lives.
Sharif said they were praying for those still missing to be found and rescued safe and sound as soon as possible, adding that they appreciated the ongoing search and rescue efforts.
Sharif stated that the people of Pakistan stand with the people of Türkiye in these difficult and painful days and remain in full solidarity with them.
