Syria and Libya sign cooperation agreement
Tripoli, August 30 (Hibya) - Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani and Taher Al-Baour, acting head of Libya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, signed an agreement aimed at developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement is intended to activate the previously signed agreement concerning the Higher Joint Committee and update it in line with political developments in both countries.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Abdulhamid Al-Dbeibah, Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity.
In a statement, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the agreement aims to align cooperation mechanisms between the two countries with current political conditions.
