Palestine calls for urgent international intervention
Ramallah, June 10 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its call for urgent international intervention to end Israel’s policy of destabilizing the situation in the West Bank.
The ministry repeated its warning against the accelerating occupation plans aimed at exploding the situation in the occupied West Bank, deepening crimes against the people such as genocide, displacement, and annexation, and undermining any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state.
The statement noted that the ministry also warned against ongoing crimes, including the demolition of hundreds of homes in the Jenin and Tulkarm refugee camps and many Palestinian towns.
“The ministry calls on the international community to take immediate, practical steps to end the occupation's aggression against our people and their rights. It welcomes the efforts of France and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure the success of the international conference in New York and is working to ensure its outcomes match the level of challenges facing the Palestinian cause—chief among them being the immediate cessation of genocide, displacement, and annexation crimes, and the preservation of the two-state solution.”
