Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Palestinian Foreign Minister Shaheen met today with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Ablakwa. The meeting was also attended by Palestine’s Ambassador to Ghana, Abdul Fattah Al-Satri.

Shaheen praised Ghana’s position regarding the genocidal war in Gaza and President John Dramani Mahama’s pro-Palestinian approach in international forums, particularly at the United Nations, and thanked the Ghanaian government for the humanitarian aid provided to children in Gaza.

Shaheen stated that ensuring the independence of the Palestinian state, safeguarding the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, delivering sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza, and adhering to international law and the New York Declaration are top priorities, emphasizing that the two-state solution is the only viable solution.

In response to Shaheen’s remarks expressing Palestine’s desire to open new areas of cooperation with Ghana and to engage in future political consultations, Ghanaian Foreign Minister Ablakwa affirmed his country’s support for Palestine and stressed the importance of the international community acting collectively to achieve a ceasefire. He also expressed Ghana’s willingness to deepen bilateral relations with Palestine and to sign cooperation agreements in various fields.
