Poland issues call to its citizens in Iran
Warsaw, January 14 (Hibya) — The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on its citizens in Iran to leave the country as soon as possible.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the immediate departure from Iran and advised avoiding all travel to the country.
In a statement, the Ministry said: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for the immediate departure from Iran and advises against any travel to the country. The internal situation in Iran is unstable. The Odyseusz system is the primary reminder and communication channel used by diplomatic missions to contact citizens in crisis situations.”
Polish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maciej Wewior wrote on social media: “Reminder: Leave Iran immediately, do not travel there now. Postpone travel to the Persian Gulf and via the Persian Gulf.”
