Portugal calls for ceasefire in Ukraine
Lisbon, May 6 (Hibya) - The Portuguese Foreign Ministry described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s ceasefire proposal as a sign of Ukraine’s willingness for peace and called on Russia to respond positively to the process.
The Portuguese Foreign Ministry stated that the ceasefire proposal starting from May 6, put forward by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, demonstrates Ukraine’s will for peace.
The statement called on Russia to respond positively to the peace process and emphasized that this represents a new opportunity to end the conflict.
