Portuguese and Azerbaijani foreign ministers meet in New York
New York, May 27 (Hibya) - According to a statement by the Portuguese Foreign Ministry, Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met in New York.
According to a statement from the Portuguese Foreign Ministry, Portuguese Foreign Minister Rangel met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov at the United Nations headquarters in New York. During the meeting, international developments as well as strengthening economic and cultural relations were discussed.
The statement noted that following Portugal’s decision to open an embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan also announced that it would open an embassy in Lisbon.
