Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

During a press conference in Moscow yesterday, where Putin responded to U.S. proposals for a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, he stated that he supports a 30-day ceasefire but emphasized that there are still significant unanswered questions that need to be discussed with the U.S. administration. He suggested that he might need to discuss the issue over the phone with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Earlier in the day, a spokesperson for the Russian President stated that the proposal was only designed to give the Ukrainians "breathing space." Ukrainian officials have already announced that they accept the proposal.

Putin stressed that the ceasefire agreement must lead to a long-term solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and should address the root causes of this conflict.

During the press conference, Putin praised the Russian troops. He said that the next steps would depend on how well they managed to repel Ukraine’s advances towards the Kursk region. The President added that his troops have made significant progress in the region and across the entire front line in recent days.

The Ukrainians first launched surprise attacks on the Kursk region in August last year, managing to take control of a significant portion of the area. In recent days, Russian forces have recaptured villages one after another. Yesterday morning, the Russian government announced that they had regained control of the town of Sudzha.
