Radev: Bulgaria aims to play a strong role in Europe's reindustrialization
Sofia, July 23 (Hibya) - According to a statement published on the website of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said the country is working to strengthen its position in Europe's reindustrialization and to develop a high value-added, innovation-driven economy.
According to the Council of Ministers, during his meeting with European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation Ekaterina Zaharieva, Radev said Bulgaria aims to strengthen industrial and technological convergence within the European Union. He also stressed the importance of ensuring equal access, particularly for smaller member states, to the resources of the new European Competitiveness Fund.
The statement added that the meeting also covered the European Union's upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework, the future of the Horizon Europe Programme, and issues related to strengthening research, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
