Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov met with Azerbaijani counterpart Bayramov
Antalya, April 12 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov within the scope of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The parties discussed concrete steps to strengthen allied interaction and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as a joint calendar of events.
The ministers exchanged views on current international and regional developments, emphasizing the importance of continuing interaction within the 3+3 Regional Cooperation Platform and intensifying efforts in the Caspian Five format.
The Russian side reiterated its readiness to contribute to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the signing of a peace agreement, stressing the need for full compliance with the trilateral agreements reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia between 2020 and 2022.
