Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he had a phone conversation with Guatemalan Foreign Minister Carlos Ramiro Martinez.
Saar said: “Guatemala made history by opening an embassy in our eternal capital, Jerusalem. It was a pleasure to talk about the Israeli children rescued from the 'Lev Tahor' cult. I thank the minister for the cooperation and friendship of the Guatemalan authorities. We will continue to deepen the relations between our countries.”
