Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a statement regarding the new counterterrorism decisions taken by the Argentine government and the strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Thanking President Milei, Saar said: “I thank Argentine President Javier Milei for his decision to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization. This decision comes after he also designated Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organizations, and it places Argentina under his leadership at the forefront of the free world in the fight against the Iranian terror regime and its arms.”

Recalling the attacks Argentina had suffered in the past, Minister Saar said: “Argentina was also a target of the Iranian regime’s brutality in the severe terrorist attacks against the Israeli Embassy in 1992 and the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in 1994.”

Praising Milei’s leadership, Saar said: “With this decision, President Milei, one of the greatest leaders of our generation, has once again demonstrated his moral clarity and uncompromising commitment to the values of freedom and the fight against their enemies.”
