Shahin speaks with Irish Foreign, Trade and Defense Minister McEntee
Ramallah, May 3 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the rising tensions in the West Bank during a phone call with Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense Helen McEntee.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Minister Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin held a comprehensive phone conversation with her Irish counterpart Helen McEntee.
The discussion focused on the current situation in the Palestinian territories and regional security issues.
Shahin also thanked Ireland for its support for the Palestinian cause and UNRWA. McEntee, for her part, expressed her country’s concern over the situation and emphasized that Ireland continues to focus on developments in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
