Sharif: Pakistan is ready to provide humanitarian or material assistance to Türkiye
Islamabad, May 5 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish people over the floods in Türkiye.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement, expressed condolences to Türkiye over the floods affecting Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman and surrounding provinces.
Sharif said, “On behalf of the people and government of Pakistan, as well as personally, I extend my deepest condolences to my dear brother Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the brotherly people of Türkiye over the devastating floods and extreme weather events that struck Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman and surrounding areas, causing loss of life and property.”
Emphasizing that Pakistan stands in full solidarity with Türkiye in this difficult time, Sharif said, “Pakistan is ready to provide any humanitarian or material assistance that Türkiye may need.”
