Starmer: We are taking action against Russia's shadow fleet
London, March 26 (Hibya) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that conflicts in the Middle East are benefiting the Russian economy by increasing oil prices.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement regarding global energy markets and the strategies Russia is pursuing to finance the war.
Arguing that Russian President Vladimir Putin is benefiting from instability in the region, Starmer said: "Putin is pleased by the war in the Middle East because he thinks high oil prices will allow him to line his pockets."
Emphasizing his determination to protect British interests, Prime Minister Starmer said: "I will always defend British interests both at home and abroad, which is why today we are taking action against Russia's shadow fleet."
