Stubb: Finland stands with its ally Romania
Helsinki, May 29 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb commented on a Russian drone targeting a civilian residential area in Romania and on security discussions within the Alliance.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb condemned the attack on Romania.
Highlighting the cross-border nature of the attack, Stubb said: "Finland condemns Russia's drone attack on an apartment building in Romania. Russia is crossing yet another line in its war of aggression against Ukraine."
Sharing a message of support for the allied country, Stubb stated: "Finland stands with its ally Romania and continues to support Ukraine's right to defend itself."
Referring to the diplomatic dimension of the matter, Stubb added: "The situation is being discussed within the Alliance."
