Sybiha: I thank the Australian Government and the Australian people
Kyiv, June 19 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha welcomed Australia's decision to contribute $70 million to the PURL program at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) meeting and thanked the Australian government and people.
Referring to Australia's steadfast support for Ukraine's defense capabilities and the strategic partnership between the two countries, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of this assistance.
Stating that contributions from allies are critical to Ukraine's resilience, Sybiha said: "I welcome Australia's announcement of a $70 million contribution to PURL at the UDCG meeting. This is a strong demonstration of Australia's ongoing commitment to strengthening Ukraine's resilience and supporting a lasting peace."
Highlighting the solidarity between the two countries, Sybiha added: "I thank the Australian Government and the Australian people for standing with Ukraine. We deeply value our partnership and Australia's unwavering support."
