Tajani: Italy supports dialogue and diplomacy
Rome, May 10 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said in a statement regarding the ceasefire decision between India and Pakistan that Italy supports dialogue and diplomacy.
Tajani congratulated India and Pakistan for the ceasefire.
He expressed hope that the ceasefire would become a lasting agreement, saying, “Italy is on the side of dialogue and diplomacy and is always ready to contribute.”
Tajani added, “The Italian government is on the front lines against terrorism and all forms of escalation to promote peace and growth in Asia; we want to play an increasingly leading role in Asia with our systems and companies.”
