Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The agreement was reached during a meeting between Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan and DRC President Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo held on August 18, 2026, at the Presidential Residence in Zanzibar.

In the area of trade and investment, it was stated that Tanzania would continue to work closely with the DRC to create a favorable environment for businesses and investors, facilitate cross-border trade and increase the production of value-added products. The two countries also agreed to strengthen customs services and border infrastructure.

In the mining sector, the parties agreed to develop cooperation in geological surveys, mineral exploration and extraction, processing and the creation of added value within the African continent. In this context, they also aim to develop vocational skills and promote the use of technology.

In the areas of transportation and energy, the leaders agreed to increase the use of Tanzania's ports and transport corridors to facilitate trade and discussed accelerating the implementation of railway, road, port and energy infrastructure projects.

The meeting also emphasized that peace and security are fundamental elements of development. Tshisekedi said his visit laid the groundwork for strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries and highlighted the importance of adding value to Africa's natural resources within the continent.

Tshisekedi also said employment opportunities, particularly for young people, should be created and that the wealth generated from Africa's natural resources should benefit Africans.
